I've been bringing Tyr the tortoise to work frequently, and today set up a cage for him at the office so he can sleep over and not have to go back and forth with me everyday. Of course, he will come home with me on the weekends and whenever other times he needs to, but he's such a fun little guy to have around, I'm glad I will be able to have him at work with me. My coworkers really seem to love him, which is really funny. I work at a company that makes enzymes, and my boss said if he stays he has to have a work related name. One of our products is called Long Range, so my boss has been calling him the Long Ranger.

Amazing Update

Amazing and his friends are still doing great. Bamboo's five pups are huge and healthy. I am keeping one nutmeg, who I named Tulip. I'll be showing him in the big New England show this weekend, we'll see how he does in the pup class.
Donna and I have decided that Amazing must be a dwarf gerbil. He's maybe half the size of the others in the cage, and has a big round belly and spindly legs and tail. Otherwise he is very spunky and tenacious.
